About the Role

The Bronx clinic, funded at over $12 million, is one of four national sites contracted by the government to recruit 4,000 Hispanic Latino adults residing in the Bronx. This role requires physical fitness, strong communication skills in various Spanish dialects, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare mailing packets for medical facilities and materials for study visits.
  • Maintain electronic logs in study databases.
  • Assist with data tracking and quality review.
  • Print and prepare health education resources.
  • Assist with REDCap data entry, report generation, and reviewing Epic provider panels for eligible participants.
  • Update internal tracking systems (Excel and REDCap) with recruitment contact attempts and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with the study team, including the Program Manager, Study Coordinator, and Clinical Interviewer.
  • Recruit participants into the study using Spanish and English skills.
  • Manage, organize, and file paper copy medical records for hospitalized and deceased participants.
  • Review and scan medical releases of information for submission to hospitals and medical facilities.
  • Organize and redact medical records for submission to the coordinating center.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • 6 months - 1 year of clerical experience required.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
