About the Role

Join our ambitious team at the Lower Colorado River Authority as a Line Inspector! You will play a meaningful role in maintaining the imperative reliability of our transmission power systems. Based in Austin, you will inspect our lines, respond to outages and perform scheduled patrols across our Central region! Responsibilities

  • Inspect transmission lines and rights-of-way (ROW) to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Respond promptly to outages, resolving cause and implementing solutions to restore service.
  • Carry out routine minor upkeep on transmission line electrical equipment and ROW facilities.
  • Strictly adhere to maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure magnificent operation of transmission systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to successfully complete maintenance strategies and improvements.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in the maintenance, operation or construction of transmission line equipment and facilities or relevant experience.
  • Driver's license
