About the Role

This role will play a central part in accelerating operational performance by improving processes, governance, tools, and cross-functional execution in support of strategic growth priorities. The Operation Excellence Program Manager will support the evolution of the business by coordinating high-impact initiatives across operations, commercial, and enabling functions. The role focuses on driving adoption, visibility, execution discipline, and continuous improvement across priority programs, while helping teams improve productivity, efficiency, compliance, and overall end-to-end performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive key transformation initiatives in line with the annual execution plan and strategic roadmap
  • Coordinate cross-functional programs focused on process improvement, governance, efficiency, and operational performance
  • Support the design and implementation of future-state ways of working through workshops, stakeholder engagement, and action planning
  • Partner with business teams to identify productivity, simplification, and cost optimization opportunities across end-to-end operations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by establishing structured processes and monitoring performance
  • Identify and analyze root causes of process compliance gaps and partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Establish and support governance cadences, progress reviews, and follow-up mechanisms to ensure commitments translate into sustained results
  • Track progress across initiatives, challenge deviations, and help drive accountability for corrective actions and operational outcomes
  • Promote a disciplined, data-driven approach to continuous improvement across teams and stakeholders
  • Support tools and digitization initiatives by helping define needs, coordinate adoption plans, and monitor implementation progress
  • Support transformation planning tied to ERP, systems, and process changes to ensure business needs are anticipated and embedded early
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure process and tool evolution are aligned and mutually reinforcing
  • Contribute to business planning activities by supporting capacity, productivity, and performance improvement planning
  • Build strong partnerships across functions to drive alignment, remove blockers, and maintain execution momentum
  • Animate regular review cadences with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Influence stakeholders outside direct reporting lines to support adoption, alignment, and execution discipline
  • Help create visibility on priorities, risks, and progress to support effective decision-making

Requirements

  • Engineering and/or Business university degree
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong program management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment outside direct reporting lines
  • Experience working across matrixed organizations and engaging diverse teams toward shared outcomes
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and follow-through skills
  • Analytical and structured mindset, with attention to both detail and business impact
  • Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and evolving priorities
  • Customer- and performance-oriented, with a strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Innovative, curious, and action-oriented
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • English proficiency is required for this position due to the need to regularly communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, customers, and teams located outside Quebec.
