About the Role
Empire Life is seeking a Business Quality Analyst III to join their Information Technology team, contributing to a transforming business in a stable, yet rapidly evolving Canadian company.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with business leadership to ensure proper capture of Business Requirements.
- Ensure solutions delivered meet stakeholder objectives with manual validation techniques.
- Utilize Empire’s Product Delivery Framework, the internal best practices in the delivery of solutions.
- Provide gap analysis and make recommendations to stakeholders on potential solutions to address business needs.
- Coach new members of the team on the Product Delivery Framework.
- Lead Scrum Ceremonies and the delivery of smaller initiatives, as required.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- 2+ years of experience working in Scrum-based teams and creation of User Stories.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Effective communication across the organization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.
- Ability and willingness to mentor, coach, and train junior members.
- English language proficiency is required for communicating with customers, advisors, or employees across Canada.
