About the Role
Works under direct supervision to accurately fill medication orders, package them per prescription label directions, and ensure product accuracy and neatness. This role also involves assisting with inventory control, including handling credits and restocking.
Responsibilities
- Package medication orders per directions on prescription label
- Ensure product is accurate and neatly packaged
- Assist in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory
- Count, seal and label prescription cards
- Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels
- Return inventory to proper place
- Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
- Ensure proper and accurate filling of each individual order
- Maintain reasonable production as determined by supervisor
- Maintain all quality assurances
- Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of RX computer system
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont Employees)
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician (New Hampshire Employees)
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio Employees Only)
