About the Role
Nye Auto is seeking an Auto Detail Specialist to join our team at the Ford Detail Department, servicing all Oneida locations. This entry-level position offers advancement opportunities and a chance to build a future career.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicle exteriors using various cleaning solutions.
- Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and machines.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors, removing dirt and debris from all upholstery and surfaces.
- Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals for protection against spots and stains.
- Use different dyes, cleaning, and removing grease from engines and engine compartments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess technical knowledge and skill in auto detailing.
- Exhibit attention to detail and meticulous cleaning for customer satisfaction.
- 2 years of detailing experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient in buffing and touch-up.
- Ability to effectively operate basic mechanical equipment.
- Possess good time management skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Comply with all safety rules.
- Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must have a valid and clean Driver’s License.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
