About the Role
The Claims Service Department is a specialized team providing diverse claims services across all insurance lines, including property, liability, marine, and auto. Our mission is to support clients experiencing losses and ensure optimal insurance coverage, leveraging industry-leading approaches and expertise to aid in valuable decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Report claims to insurance companies.
- Present optimal claim processing and smooth procedure methods to clients.
- Provide advice based on expertise and knowledge for smooth claim processing.
- Scrutinize coverage approved by insurance companies.
- Collaborate with clients and insurance companies to ensure prompt and smooth insurance payments.
- Provide customized claim data to clients.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge and experience in claims processing for property, liability, new types, and cargo insurance (excluding auto). Knowledge/experience in all lines is not required.
- High time management skills and extensive experience working under pressure.
- Strong sense of ethics and teamwork.
- High interpersonal skills and empathy towards clients.
- Possibility of business trips within Japan (rarely, 1-2 times a year, within 1 week).
- Ability to independently identify and flexibly handle/resolve diverse claims and various issues.
- Spirit to boldly challenge new things on a global basis.
- Results-oriented attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships within Aon Japan and the entire Aon Group.
Skills
- Communication skills in English (speaking, listening, writing) are desirable.
