About the Role

This Federal Work Study position supports current students by enabling the sale and display of their products and artwork to the public. It aims to enhance students' educational programs and vocational goals by providing retail customer service experience and improving organization and management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and answer queries
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in retail stores
  • Assist with stock management
  • Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options
  • Process POS purchases
  • Assist with e-commerce purchases and customer service
  • Assist with e-commerce website management (content and product updates)
  • Assist with e-commerce product presentation (photoshoot, styling, lookbook, etc.)
  • Assist with generating, editing, publishing, and sharing engaging social media content
  • Report and suggest ways to improve sales
  • Open and close retail stores

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of retail principles and customer service
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to learn retail and ecommerce operations, and marketing
  • Interested in fashion, social media, design, arts and etc.
  • Active on or interested in social media, and retail / customer service experience (plus)
