About the Role
Lia Toyota Colonie is seeking experienced B/C Level Automotive Technicians to join their team in a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment. The service department is equipped with the latest technologies and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including suspension, brakes, tires, and light engine work.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide repair time estimates.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Service Technician experience required.
- Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance.
- Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience preferred.
- NYS Inspection certification preferred.
- ASE Certification recommended.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have clean & valid driver's license.
