Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences for children in school or preschool settings.
- Work with individual students or groups on daily programs, special instructions, and projects under teacher direction.
- Provide feedback and information to the teacher regarding students to aid in developing appropriate learning experiences.
- Assist in preparing lessons, materials, and instructional information, including art supplies, worksheets, educational games, and lesson plan support.
- Help maintain an organized classroom environment by managing student behavior, implementing rules, and supporting activity transitions.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Must hold a valid and active Teaching Assistant Certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in child care, child development, or education required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
