About the Role

Braun Intertec is seeking experienced Construction Materials Technicians for a traveling position working on Wind and Solar Farms and other remote projects. This role requires individuals who are dependable, flexible, and enjoy teamwork, with a willingness to work overtime, weekends, and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The technician will perform routine inspections and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform concrete and compaction testing on commercial construction projects
Prepare daily reports on testing and daily activities
Report observations and test data with accuracy and completeness
Communicate test results with project leads and site superintendents/foreman
Work with project engineers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed

Requirements

A valid driver's license and a good driving history required
Ability to travel extensively, will work at remote projects sites throughout the US
Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required
Technical expertise in electronic field data collection
Able to interpret plans and specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to lift 50 pounds

Skills

Previous materials testing experience preferred
iPad experience a plus
