About the Role
As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be responsible for spotting threats before they escalate in various environments. Your sharp eye and attention to detail are crucial for monitoring security systems and ensuring the safety of premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Perform access control duties.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
- Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols to ensure premise safety.
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification.
- Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Hold a currently valid Ontario Security and Driver's license.
- First aid certification required.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
- Strong proficiency with technology.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
