About the Role
Responsible for counter sales and customer service for firearms, as well as floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. Engages customers in a friendly manner, provides product information, and assists with buying decisions.
Responsibilities
- Supports world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience.
- Identifies and evaluates customer needs.
- Makes product recommendations based on customer needs.
- Promotes programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and In Store Pick up.
- Ensures 4473 Forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Demonstrates product knowledge to customers.
- Organizes and maintains merchandise at the Gun Counter.
- Replenishes product on shelves as required.
- Maintains product expertise through ongoing training.
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales, pricing, and signing.
- Assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- New York State Pistol Permit required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Product knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge in ATF Federal and State Regulations
