About the Role
FNZ's Solution Consulting team provides high-value services to clients, including platform configuration, managing the FNZ Model Wealth Solution configuration process, and supporting sales teams. The role involves consulting assignments for proposition definition, TOM definition, business transformation, customer training, and defining bespoke requirements. Accurate documentation of business outcomes is crucial for the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and expertise in the Solution Consulting team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local asset management industry trends and future direction.
- Present and explain existing FNZ capabilities.
- Define and challenge project scope.
- Capture and document customer business outcomes to create requirements and solution designs.
- Agree Joint Target Operating Models with customers.
- Write user stories.
- Design platform integrations.
- Provide business transformation support and consultancy services.
- Advise on regulations and platform compliance.
- Develop and deliver customer training programs and knowledge transfer.
- Configure platforms and deliver the FNZ Model Wealth Solution (MWS) process.
- Support Analyst & Developer handovers.
- Conduct Functional Reviews & TDD walkthroughs.
- Define business readiness processes and agree on SLAs.
- Perform defect verification.
- Provide leadership and support for aligned FNZ client projects.
- Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in the team.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to define proposition and product requirements.
- Provide Market expertise as required.
- Act as an SME in FNZ Platform functionality.
- Understand Platform Target Operating Models, including interfaces.
- Advise customers on best practice operating model design.
- Act as an expert in the Model Wealth Solution and run the MWS Configuration process.
- Document bespoke customer requirements and ensure they are met.
- Provide review and quality assurance of solution documentation.
- Provide consultancy services to other FNZ clients and projects.
- Provide advice and guidance to customers regarding delivering a compliant platform.
- Act as an SME in the platform market and provide training and support to other FNZ business areas.
Requirements
- 1st class degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within a business analysis / consulting role.
- Evidence of establishing an environment of continuous improvement and capability development.

- General investment/wealth/life and/or pensions products and the markets in which FNZ and our customers operate.
- FNZ Platform expertise, including being an SME in at least 4 functional areas of the platform.
- For the jurisdiction being hired for, an understanding of the regulatory environment FNZ operates within and knowledge of upcoming changes.
- 7+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environment in the financial services/wealth market.
- Clearing & settlement knowledge, including post-trade processing.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of DTCC, NSCC and CDS.
- Exchange trade processing experience, including CNS (Continuous Net Settlement), Balance Order processing, Buy-In processing, Payment Exchange.
- High-level understanding for major asset classes like Equity, Fixed Income, New Issues & Options.
- Corporate actions knowledge (good to have).
