About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder. As a BT, you will provide one-on-one specialized treatment in a center-based setting, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement treatment plans and make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with clients to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBAs.
  • Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans.
  • Support BCBAs with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
  • Physically keep up with clients, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Perform other tasks as outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
