About the Role
Senior Trader covering Fixed Income- Agencies and Government responsible for providing actionable ideas and maintaining a high level of service and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Trade Agencies and Treasury debt to service RBC Wealth Management (RBCWM) financial advisors and clients.
- Support Agency debt underwriting.
- Responsible for secondary callable trading by providing liquidity and inventory for wealth management and middle market salesforce.
- Responsible for the accurate marking and hedging of positions.
- Create actionable trade ideas geared toward retail and middle market sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 7 and 63
- 5 years minimum of relevant trading experience
- Candidates should have the people skills to collaborate and communicate well with both wealth management and middle market salespeople.
- Be fully conversant and knowledgeable of market conditions and industry rules and changes.
- Possess thorough knowledge of underwriting, secondary market, and relationships with the dealer community.
- Strong Excel, VBA, and Python
- Familiar with ECN platforms
