About the Role
The Design team is responsible for establishing trends, color, and style direction for seasonal and customer-driven lines. They create apparel designs for internal and external teams, and manage sample development and production. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, have a keen eye for trends, and possess strong multi-tasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Research market trends, colors, prints, and silhouettes to support the senior team.
- Send out tech packs and sample requests, production artwork, and color standards.
- Create organized and accurate technical development packages including construction details, sketches, fabrications, trims, print, and color details.
- Correspond with overseas factories regarding production.
- Assist designers with the trim and fabric library, color palettes, and flat sketching.
- Ensure artwork is sized correctly and assist in choosing colors.
- Prepare production packages with color and trim specifications, and production-ready print and graphic artwork.
- Track and follow up on development and fabric sourcing.
Requirements
