About the Role

The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs offer high-quality, evidence-based services using a culturally affirming, person-centered approach to enhance client functioning, instill hope, and strengthen resilience. This role provides clinical services within an Article 31 OMH certified outpatient clinic and CCBHC Demonstration Site, serving diverse communities with a trauma-informed, evidence-based, and racially & culturally affirming approach.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments.
Develop and revise treatment plans collaboratively with clients and families.
Provide individual, group, family, collateral treatment, and crisis services.
Practice self-reflection and awareness of practice impacts.
Approach work with an anti-racist lens and commitment to continuous learning.
Liaise with families, schools, criminal justice, and community agencies for care coordination.
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, training, and supervision.
Maintain documentation according to established standards and timeframes.
Uphold professional behaviors and ethical standards.
Attend case conferences as needed.
Maintain a steady and active caseload.
Meet minimum expectations for kept visits.

Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program.
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or social work (LMSW).
Experience with documenting in electronic health records.
Experience using Microsoft Office software.
Ability to read paper and electronic documents.
Ability to perform significant data entry into various computer programs.
