About the Role

The RTA Shift Supervisor provides direct care services with added authority in the absence of managers. This role ensures direct care staff adhere to individualized resident plans and acts as an ITM expert, modeling and supporting the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM). The position requires a nonjudgmental approach focused on skill-building and behavior principles, functioning as part of a team to model pro-social behavior and build positive resident relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care services.
Exercise authority in the absence of managers.
Ensure direct care staff adhere to individualized resident plans.
Act as an ITM expert, modeling and supporting the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM).
Carry out the functions of the ITM to best serve the population.
Model pro-social behavior.
Build positive relationships with all residents.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of child care experience at a residential treatment center or juvenile corrections facility.
Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, considering the varying clinical needs of each youth.
Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
Exceptional time management and attention to detail skills.
