About the Role

The Site Director leads daily operations by creating a safe, engaging program for children and families. This role involves supporting and coaching the team, building relationships with families and school partners, and ensuring the program meets quality standards and licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.

Work Type

  • Follows the school calendar
  • Afternoon Program: 2:50 - 6:00 pm

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations

  • $17.00 per hour
