About the Role
The Regional Banking Sales and Service Coordinator supports Regional Banking customers, focusing on onboarding and ongoing relationship management to ensure a high-quality customer experience. This role emphasizes cross-selling and identifying opportunities within banker portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Assist bankers in managing customer portfolios with annual sales between $2 million and $50 million.
- Coordinate due diligence and document gathering for loan documentation and closing.
- Ensure timely completion of loan renewals.
- Manage the pipeline effectively.
- Collect required financial statements from customers in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for quality control and customer experience.
- Utilize a relationship plan/model for client service and management.
- Coordinate with bankers and partners to prepare customer Relationship Plans.
- Manage NSF/OD items and coordinate resolutions with bankers and customers.
- Handle post-loan requests including advances, payments, payoffs, and research.
- Research and resolve service and operational issues for deposit and credit accounts.
- Assist customers with onboarding and maintenance of online banking platforms.
- Ensure submission of Regional Banking incidents for suspected fraudulent transactions.
- Connect customers with appropriate teams for recommended bank products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and manage risk, adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements.
- Participate in identifying issues of concern and inform department management.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new SSC colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of an additional 2 years of sales experience in a financial services or credit environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a financial services or credit environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Highly motivated, focused, and goal-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
- Capable of multitasking and working independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in PC usage, internet tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Regional Banking sales and product knowledge.
- Consultative selling and profiling experience.
- Proven track record of working well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
