About the Role

We are seeking a Multi-skilled Technician for SEA LIFE London, responsible for the daily maintenance of show equipment, rides, theming, and the facility. This role involves working in a unique environment where sharks and penguins are your colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical inspections and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and rectify routine maintenance and breakdown issues swiftly and with care.
• Sustain minimal downtime of rides and attractions through hands-on knowledge and experience.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance checks.
• Complete tasks as per work orders.
• Undertake installation, repair, and housekeeping works.
• Report actions from inspection reports to the Technical Supervisor.
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Deliver great customer service and confidently interact with visitors.
• Ensure tasks are completed to the highest possible quality to meet agreed standards.

Requirements

• Ideally with an electrical bias.
• Able to work under pressure in a heavily guest-focused environment.
• Flexible.
• High personal standards and strong personal motivation.
• Motivation to deliver the best for the business and guests.
• A positive and self-motivated individual with a strong eye for detail.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Must be a time-served apprentice with several years of experience in a multi-skilled environment.
