About the Role

Join the Nutritional Services team at Geneva General Hospital as a Hostess/Host, making a difference in the patient experience by ensuring they receive correct meals, accurate menus, and attentive service based on physician-prescribed diets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily menu selections according to their physician-prescribed diet.
  • Deliver and collect meal trays.
  • Communicate patient needs to the production team.
  • Work closely with nursing staff to address patients' food service needs.
  • Monitor and maintain supplies on assigned units.
  • Prepare supply orders and deliver supplies to units.
  • Complete required documentation and daily assignments.
  • Follow safe and sanitary food-handling practices, including HACCP standards.
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Dependable, friendly, and enjoy helping people.
