About the Role
Companions & Homemakers is seeking compassionate individuals to provide non-medical home care services to clients across Connecticut. Join a team that has been making a difference for over 35 years and is dedicated to treating caregivers like family.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
- Transport clients to appointments and activities
- Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
- Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
- Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
- Document care and provide reminders as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Open availability preferred
