About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer within the Sales & Service Data Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in advancing strategic Wealth Management and Financial Services initiatives that support client experiences, business growth, and operational excellence. You will lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale cloud data solutions that power critical business capabilities across Sales & Service platforms. You will partner closely with product owners, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to solve complex data challenges, improve decision-making, and deliver resilient, trusted, and scalable data products. Your expertise will help shape the organization's long-term data strategy while accelerating cloud modernization efforts leveraging Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Airflow, Salesforce integrations, and modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale cloud data solutions.
- Partner closely with product owners, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.
- Improve decision-making and deliver resilient, trusted, and scalable data products.
- Shape the organization's long-term data strategy.
- Accelerate cloud modernization efforts.
- Influence engineering direction through hands-on development, technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration.
- Build secure, scalable, and highly available data pipelines and data platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and lead technical workstreams within Agile delivery teams.
- Drive DevSecOps, observability, and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise application development.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale data integration and data engineering solutions.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
- Experience implementing modern data engineering practices, including change data capture, reconciliation frameworks, medallion architecture, data transformation, and data quality solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Wealth Management, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, security, compliance, and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data integrations and customer experience platforms.
