About the Role

This role plays a vital role in bringing TD's human, relationship-driven banking experience to life. As a trusted guide for clients, you will deliver everyday banking with accuracy, confidence, and clarity, while helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered to achieve their financial goals and uphold TD's strong risk and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, acting as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location.
  • Seamlessly guide traffic flow while delivering a high-touch client experience.
  • Deliver accurate and efficient everyday banking transactions.
  • Deepen client relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities.
  • Refer clients to appropriate partners to help achieve their financial objectives.
  • Engage clients with professionalism, focusing on educating them about appropriate products and self-serve solutions.
  • Use insights to recommend solutions for turning routine client transactions into meaningful moments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic banking products and services.
  • Utilize insights, tools, and resources to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
  • Perform a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
  • Identify and assess client problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures.
  • Escalate non-standard issues internally.
  • Orchestrate the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, issue resolution, and referrals to appropriate partners.
  • Act as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences aligned to TD’s service strategy.
  • Create personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust from the initial engagement and strengthen ongoing relationships.
  • Balance client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness to ensure compliant and responsible outcomes.
  • Proactively educate clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience, save time, and support financial well-being.
  • Connect clients to specialists as needed to achieve long-term goals.
  • Advocate for clients by demonstrating empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective in all interactions.
  • Maintain compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the client.
  • Act as a trusted first point of contact in safeguarding the integrity of the client relationship by operating within compliance of AML laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately verify client identification, maintain data integrity, and follow established authentication and documentation standards.
  • Identify potential discrepancies, material changes, or risk indicators and escalate appropriately in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Act in accordance with TD's code of conduct and ethical standards in every decision.
  • Protect TD's clients, colleagues, and the Bank.
  • Complete required training and continuously strengthen risk and compliance knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand, and Culture.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team.
  • Take accountability for outcomes and performance by participating in performance and development activities.
  • Proactively share insights, lessons learned, and best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (experience can include volunteering, education, military experience)
  • Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire
  • Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
  • Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
