About the Role
EY-Parthenon's Deal Technology practice works on complex global transactions, advising CEOs, Boards, Private Equity, and Governments. The Strategy and Execution sub-service line focuses on IT projects within transactions, preparing and executing separation and integration plans, identifying value enhancement, and advising on risk mitigation and operational changes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute IT focused projects across sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies for transactions.
- Develop experience in pre-deal engagements, such as operational and carve-out planning.
- Develop experience in post-deal engagements, such as integration planning and tracking.
- Coach junior colleagues to become high-performing.
- Contribute to practice development initiatives.
- Drive aspects of pursuits, including presentations and client meetings.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Significant management consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
- The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the specified IT skillsets.
- Experience with and demonstrated success in at least one key business process such as procurement to pay, record to report, order to cash, plan to make, hire to retire.
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired.
- Must reside in or be in a commutable distance to the office location.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- A proven record of excellence in an IT transactions role.
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
