About the Role
GFT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and motivated Hydrology and Hydraulics Engineer (H&H Engineer) to join our Hydraulics Team. This role involves performing engineering calculations, technical studies, and preparing plans and specifications for various projects, including impact analysis, roadway drainage, and master drainage plans. The successful candidate will provide oversight for H&H analysis and design tasks, manage client and project duties, and prepare technical reports.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of drainage impact studies, master plans and engineering reports (including CLOMRS & LOMRS)
- Lead the development of project design concepts, criteria, construction plans and reviews project documents for conformity and quality assurance
- Work with client and other disciplines to prepare appropriate designs, as dictated by the scope of work
- Analyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures
- Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability
- Provide input for proposals and pursuit of new projects
- Supervision of junior level staff
- Makes recommendations on project staffing
- Communicates independently with clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 4 to 10 Years of relevant experience involving H&H Projects
- Experience with Project proposals and Presentations

- $90,000 - $135,000
