About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst II to support the company’s procurement operations. This role is responsible for processing purchase orders, analyzing purchasing data, assisting with vendor negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The Procurement Analyst II will play a key role in driving cost savings, improving processes, and supporting business stakeholders through accurate reporting and data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Assist in vendor negotiations by preparing cost analyses, benchmarking data, and pricing comparisons.
  • Support internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure procurement activities align with business needs.
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Develop and update procurement reports, metrics, and dashboards to track KPIs such as order cycle time, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Analyze purchasing trends, forecast demand, and provide insights to support budgeting and sourcing initiatives.
  • Utilize Excel and other tools to perform data analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve decision-making.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement function.
  • Assist with supplier performance monitoring and resolution of order-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and systems (experience with Oracle PO system preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
