About the Role
The Partnership Manager is responsible for driving Live Events Partnership revenue and delivering multiplatform campaigns to the highest standard. This role involves developing agency and client relationships, providing excellent client service, creativity, and selling multi-platform partnerships. A thorough knowledge of Global brands and platforms, and the ability to build long-term relationships are essential for continued partnership investment in the fast-paced Live Events sector.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and nurture strong long-term internal and external relationships with key partners, acting as their go-to global contact.
- Work with multiple global teams, senior branded content professionals, producers, and senior brand stakeholders.
- Collaborate with promoters and agencies to build Live Events packages based on brand approvals.
- Dissect and understand partnership briefs to facilitate creative brainstorms and respond to insights.
- Build proposals and confidently sell for all Live Events briefs across music, festivals, theatre, attractions, exhibitions, comedy, and sport.
- Maintain contract records and dates, initiating renewal discussions with key internal partners.
- Ensure all agreements are in place before activity commences and all documents are saved on the central system.
- Develop contract renewal strategies and ensure Global meets all contractual requirements.
- Identify and address key challenges for both internal and external parties.
- Take initiative in problem-solving and manage communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
- Achieve targets and revenue goals.
- Provide accurate forecasting for agencies and clients in both the short term and long term.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a media environment, ideally within the Live Events sector.
- Previous experience working directly with agencies or clients, pitching, and delivering top-class customer service.
- Ability to multitask across multiple teams and brands, and work on multiple cross-media projects simultaneously for agencies and direct events clients.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to persuade others and secure the best deals for both the client and Global.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and initiative to create mutually beneficial results.
- Understanding of cross-media activity and the role of other media in the marketing mix.
- Sound knowledge of radio and the commercial opportunities it offers is ideal.
