About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts. You will assist in determining and understanding customers’ requirements for Arrow AEP product offerings and services.
Responsibilities
- Leverage AE Petsche and vendor programs and promotions to progress a transaction through the sales cycle.
- Manage vendor special pricing programs including submissions for pricing requests, tracking requests for approval, logging submissions and results, and notifying customers of outstanding or expiring requests.
- Involve other resources (field, brand, engineering, financing, vendor, etc.) to address issues.
- Process quotes for specified customers and/or quote revisions for mass price changes, program changes or part changes.
- Prepare orders for submission based on customer purchase orders, ensuring all required information for accurate processing is included.
- Work with vendor contacts and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problems, including End User records, programs, RMAs, maintenance contract additions and removals, invoicing, credit, and shipping issues.
- Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Develop opportunities and increase sales by consultative interaction with customers to achieve or exceed sales and margin quota.
- Communicate information on all significant opportunities.
- Consolidate, enter, and validate end user opportunities for assigned resellers.
- Update sales cycle progress.
- Provide a timely, accurate forecast to manager using opportunity information.
Requirements
- 2-3 years related experience and/or training (inside sales, account management, material planning, buying or program management).
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information in a concise, logical way.
- Ability to listen attentively and confirm the message presented.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Ability to deliver sensitive communications with appropriate tact and diplomacy.
- Must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) as this role performs work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
