About the Role
The Financial Risk Analytics team at S&P Global provides state-of-the-art products and solutions for financial institutions to manage counterparty credit risk, market risk, and derivative valuation adjustments. This role is pivotal in supporting market expansion and contributing strategic insights to our sales and marketing teams within this specialized group.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a North America go-to-market strategy targeting buy-side institutions.
- Originate new opportunities across Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, xVA, and related analytics workflows.
- Engage senior stakeholders across Risk, Front Office, Quant, and Technology teams.
- Position solutions as complementary to existing infrastructure (e.g., benchmarking, validation, workflow enhancement).
- Partner with product and sales teams to shape proposals and progress complex sales cycles.
- Provide market intelligence to inform commercial and product strategy.
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Requirements
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 15+ years of experience in capital markets, risk technology, or financial analytics business development.
- Demonstrated track record selling or originating opportunities with North American buy-side institutions.
- Strong domain knowledge in at least one of: Market Risk, CCR, xVA, or risk data infrastructure.
- Established network within risk, trading, or quantitative functions.
- Proven ability to drive consultative, solution-led engagements.
- Highly proficient communication skills, both written and oral. Personally engaging.
- Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team.
- We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
