About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be a key part of the Corporate Traveller sales team, responsible for building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline by securing high-quality appointments for the sales team through proactive sourcing, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities. You will engage prospects via calls, emails, sales enablement platforms, and social media, and work with marketing and partners to follow up on warm leads. Managing leads in Salesforce and supporting sales campaigns are also key aspects of this results-driven role.
Responsibilities
- Secure high-quality appointments for the sales team.
- Proactively source, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
- Engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, sales enablement platforms, and social media.
- Work closely with marketing, partners, and suppliers to follow up on warm leads.
- Manage and nurture leads through Salesforce, qualifying them against the Ideal Client Profile (ICP).
- Hand over qualified opportunities seamlessly to the sales team.
- Support sales campaigns and events to deliver measurable return on investment.
- Contribute directly to revenue growth.
Requirements
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust with prospects and internal sales teams.
- Confidence and persuasiveness to engage new contacts and create compelling reasons for them to meet with the sales team.
- Solid understanding of sales KPIs and the discipline to manage time and pipeline effectively.
- Ability to qualify opportunities commercially, including understanding a company’s travel spend and suitability against an ICP.
- Flexibility and adaptability to embrace new initiatives, tools, and ways of working.
- Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivated and proactive self-starter.
