About the Role

The Supervisory Risk & Controls team within Global Banking & Markets (GBM) manages controls covering supervisory-related risks arising from business activities in the Global Banking & Markets (GBM) division. The team partners with businesses to implement controls, support ongoing monitoring and oversight, as well as related supervisory tools to manage risk. We are looking for an individual to support the expansion of the program to cover business activities in GBM Private, focusing on the Capital Solutions Group (CSG).

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of Capital Solutions Group (CSG) business activities
Support the development of the supervisory framework for CSG business activities, including appropriate desk controls, monitoring & tools
Define and implement appropriate controls to manage risk, including supervisor expectations and escalation
Support governance processes to drive monitoring & oversight for the covered controls
Build relationships with relevant stakeholder groups to implement the program, including bankers, Compliance, Engineering, Legal and others, as relevant
Engage with GBM Public side teams to drive consistency across the divisional supervisory program and related monitoring

Requirements

Prior knowledge of banking activities including financing, origination, structuring & underwriting preferred.
Familiarity with securities markets, derivative products, deal flows.
Strong time and project management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment; communicate factually and influentially.
