About the Role
The Product Line Manager holds responsibility for creating product strategy and supporting lifecycle management of our portfolio of commercial Tactical EW (Electronic Warfare) products and accessories. This position reports to the site Product Line Management Director and supports a growing, product focused organization specializing in engineering design and onsite manufacturing of tactical radio systems.
Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure collaboration across site, supporting product line strategy and multiyear technical roadmaps to meet strategic objectives of the business.
- Collect customer requirements, use cases, and market research, driving product development decisions and opportunities for innovation.
- Support oversight of the lifecycle across a catalog of Tactical EW products, participating in all phases of the New Product Introduction process, including business case analysis, engineering and operations reviews, and project performance tracking.
- Work closely with the Engineering, Finance, and Program Management teams to develop execution and resource plans tied to internal and external investment.
- Support site price catalog, providing pricing strategies for new and existing product offerings.
- Support preparation of product white papers, proposals, and request for information responses.
Requirements
- US Citizen with BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent technical background.
- 5+ years of relevant experience managing a product portfolio or related role.
- Some experience preparing business plans and product briefings.
- Able to interface and collaborate with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Experience or understanding of product lifecycle management, engineering development, and manufacturing.
- Able to present to internal and external stakeholders latest product strategies, market updates, and customer briefings.
- BS degree in an Engineering discipline.
- MBA or equivalent.
- Familiarity with tactical military radios, RF related products, and EW Systems.
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors, creating relationships and partnerships.
- Some knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering principals, RF signals, System Engineering design, and wireless communication technologies.
- Familiar with circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly.
- Understand Configuration Management best practices and processes including product development stages, release to manufacturing, and engineering change orders.
- Prior experience and knowledge of US DoD and international government contracting.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
