About the Role

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Shipping Associate to accurately load and unload trailers, verify route loads, and maintain the shipping yard. This role is crucial for ensuring our consumers receive fresh products.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load and unload trailers.
• Verify route load(s) and trailer reports.
• Maintain the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Report overages and shortages.
• Participate in "Cycle Counts".
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, and palletizers.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stack/unstack or carry.
• Ability to stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
