About the Role

XBOX Media Solutions is seeking a Senior Director Gaming - Measurement and Insights to lead its gaming-dedicated measurement and insights function. This role will lead an organization focused on measurement, insights, and data science to demonstrate the ROI of gaming to advertisers, generate novel insights on gaming's advertising power, understand player needs related to advertising, and shape the future of advertising measurement for the gaming business.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a unified measurement and insights strategy across sales, marketing, and product stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients at a senior level on measurement topics like MMM and MTA to shape and defend gaming investments.
  • Champion customer measurement needs with gaming studios, platforms, and advertising product teams by translating measurement outcomes into product recommendations.
  • Manage and develop a team of researchers and analytics professionals.
  • Ensure operational rigor and SLAs with stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Act as an industry thought leader on measurement, particularly for gaming audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field AND 8+ years experience in data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR Master's Degree AND 6+ years experience OR Doctoral Degree AND 5+ years experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Skills

  • Full funnel measurement knowledge, from brand to performance outcomes.
  • Understanding of emerging measurement frontiers (attention, AI, etc.).
  • Measurement ecosystem experience, including industry trends, third-party tools, and methodologies (experimentation, causal inference, econometric modeling, etc.).
  • Proficient primary and secondary research skills, including survey design and implementation of 3rd party data.
  • Experience building high-performing teams.
  • Experience working across highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience as a collaborator seeking broader organizational benefit.
  • Experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
  • Experience in gaming and/or CTV ecosystems.

Salary/Compensations

  • USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year (U.S. typical base pay range)
  • USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year (San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
