About the Role
BCG is seeking an experienced Editorial Director to lead the firm’s content program for a global marketing campaign aimed at CEOs. This role involves defining and executing content strategy, managing editorial development, and overseeing content pipelines to ensure alignment with campaign priorities and showcase BCG insights.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the global campaign team to define and execute a cohesive, cross-channel content strategy.
- Conceive and manage the development of editorial features aligned with campaign priorities.
- Take a portfolio view of content pipelines across the firm, ensuring alignment with the campaign’s content strategy.
- Improve content quality across various formats, including articles, reports, videos, and infographics.
- Leverage expertise in GenAI tools to storyline data and research, ensuring compelling and differentiated content.
- Proactively identify new thought leadership opportunities and drive content projects.
- Shape questionnaires, analyze data, and extract compelling stories for flagship reports.
- Provide top editing for content targeted at a CEO audience.
- Occasionally serve as a writer to share timely insights.
- Cultivate relationships within the campaign and across the business, acting as an advisor, influencer, and problem solver.
- Articulate a data-driven content strategy and gain alignment from senior stakeholders.
- Develop and update external messaging and talking points for BCG thought leaders.
- Help define KPIs for content across owned and earned channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with demonstrated high academic achievement.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a professional editorial environment.
- Integrated marketing experience, with a focus on thought leadership campaigns.
