About the Role

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines and related equipment in a continuous production environment. The position is located in Cortland, NY, and is an on-site role, with opportunities on both 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
• Upload new programs or alterations and supply set-up sheets.
• Deburr parts and sharpen tools.
• Setup tooling.
• Work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel with little supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Collect necessary data for use by Engineering.
• Troubleshoot potential machine problems and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
• 18 months + of related CNC Machine Operator experience.
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
