About the Role

The Product Owner II is responsible for executing the strategic direction, continuous improvement, and functional and technical roadmap for a product or experience. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to understand market differentiation, build scalable experiences, and manage the product lifecycle to meet defined goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure technical design supports objectives and measures appropriately, tying back to concept objectives supporting business goals.
  • Lead the technical design process, applying experience, research, and due diligence to development and architecture planning and execution.
  • Evaluate existing solutions or explore new solutions.
  • Prioritize the product backlog as a list of work for development derived from the product roadmap and its requirements.
  • Determine overall project timelines and use tactical sessions/documents to capture and track planned features.
  • Define deliverable scope according to project plans and outline achievement methods.
  • Utilize retrospectives to reflect on collaboration and identify improvements for upcoming projects or sprints.
  • Conduct demos to showcase product or project value to business groups.
  • Manage the product or product portfolio roadmap as a shared source of truth outlining vision, direction, priorities, and progress.
  • Define and track KPIs and measurable success criteria.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • Tailor communication to audience, mediate and facilitate communications between others.
  • Communicate architecture to all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders to resolve significant architecture issues.
  • Epic experience in Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, HIM and Access.

Skills

  • Healthcare technology experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations

  • $120000 - $180060 Annually
