Responsibilities

  • Retain and expand specific clients, typically working on behalf of a Producer with a book of business generating $1.5MM+ in annual revenue.
  • Drive overall client strategy to meet or exceed client expectations and growth goals.
  • Leverage client knowledge to manage renewals and growth of existing accounts.
  • Coordinate company personnel involvement (service, loss control, local leadership) to meet strategic objectives.
  • Conduct Stewardship reviews.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve client goals and contribute to profitable company growth.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure timely resolution and satisfactory outcomes for client issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience.
  • Appropriate licensing for Property & Casualty Insurance sales.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Salesforce.com experience (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Keen problem-solving skills, focusing solutions on the root cause.
  • Successfully manages competing priorities.
  • Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Builds collaborative and mutually meaningful relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Comfortably engages others in a consultative sales dialogue.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) (preferred)
  • Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) (preferred)
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) (preferred)
