About the Role
Supports in the portfolio management of a variety of problem loans, including underwriting and executing debt restructuring. The ideal candidate will manage diverse deal stages in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the review of the assigned portfolio for credit quality and credit risk rating accuracy and notes any policy exceptions.
- Underwrites a variety of technology/life sciences verticals and credit products.
- Prepares quarterly CLS/CLR packages and CLR minutes.
- Maintains credit files, monitors past dues, and prepares underwriting packages.
- Interfaces and collaborates with operations.
- Contacts clients to obtain financial information.
- Assists in the preparation of quarterly Individual Assessments.
- Navigates various Bank systems.
- Manages less complex accounts and/or charge-offs, recommending and implementing loss mitigation strategies.
- Interacts directly with clients.
- Negotiates and applies workout strategies.
- Analyzes credit and financial information.
- Applies knowledge of financial principles and concepts.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 3 years' experience in Credit Training or Financial Analysis
- Preferred Area of Study: Accounting, Finance, or Credit
- Preferred Area of Experience: Commercial Banking or Advisory
