About the Role

Supports in the portfolio management of a variety of problem loans, including underwriting and executing debt restructuring. The ideal candidate will manage diverse deal stages in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the review of the assigned portfolio for credit quality and credit risk rating accuracy and notes any policy exceptions.
  • Underwrites a variety of technology/life sciences verticals and credit products.
  • Prepares quarterly CLS/CLR packages and CLR minutes.
  • Maintains credit files, monitors past dues, and prepares underwriting packages.
  • Interfaces and collaborates with operations.
  • Contacts clients to obtain financial information.
  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly Individual Assessments.
  • Navigates various Bank systems.
  • Manages less complex accounts and/or charge-offs, recommending and implementing loss mitigation strategies.
  • Interacts directly with clients.
  • Negotiates and applies workout strategies.
  • Analyzes credit and financial information.
  • Applies knowledge of financial principles and concepts.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 3 years' experience in Credit Training or Financial Analysis
  • Preferred Area of Study: Accounting, Finance, or Credit
  • Preferred Area of Experience: Commercial Banking or Advisory
