About the Role

As a member of our dedicated Bagging Production team, you will bag, seal, stack, wrap, and stage mulch and decorative gravel products for distribution. You will also palletize various rock products to fulfill customer orders and stock the yard.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loader to fill hopper with material for bagging or tumbling
• Operate forklift, Teledyne, or backhoe to move, empty or loaded pallets and product
• Attach bags to machine for filling
• Put full bags into sealer for closure
• Lift bags of product from conveyor belt and stack onto pallets
• Rake rock off bucket into hopper
• Shovel, sweep and pick up to maintain safe working area
• Stock bags for bagger and plastic rolls for wrapping
• Use wire cutting pliers and/or bolt cutters to assemble wire cages and tie off for delivery
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance

Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working

Skills

• Forklift experience is a plus
• Landscape, Nursery, or Irrigation product knowledge is helpful
