About the Role
Perform professional social work services to patients, families, and provide social work consultation to interdisciplinary teams within the Yale New Haven Health System, under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CT) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (RI).
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with persons from diverse developmental, cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and abilities.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge base and skill set through educational opportunities.
- Meet expectations set forth by the State licensure, Hospital and departmental standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of one field placement from an accredited School of Social Work.
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) from the State of Connecticut, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or Rhode Island license requirements.
