About the Role
Huntleigh USA is seeking Aviation Security Screeners to join their team at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest level of safety and security in airport operations, offering a potential first step into an exciting and growing industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor jet bridge access and ensure only authorized personnel enter aircraft
- Secure and inspect aircraft while on the ramp (AOA)
- Inspect catering equipment, food containers, and delivery vehicles
- Screen passengers on charter flights in compliance with TSA guidelines
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a Department of Homeland Security background check for airport security clearance
- Must pass all required training classes and examinations
- Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred)
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airport security badge
- Clean background in accordance with federal airport security requirements
