This role involves creating engaging content, experimenting with channels, and understanding audience needs to drive growth and build relationships with parents, students, and schools.
Responsibilities
- Build Blue’s UK presence by establishing and growing presence across key channels.
- Develop clear positioning and messaging that makes Blue distinctive, credible, and relevant.
- Build awareness and trust with parents, students, schools, and education professionals.
- Identify conversations, communities, and opportunities where Blue should have a voice.
- Understand how positioning and content should differ across B2C and B2B audiences.
- Own Blue’s UK content strategy and ensure consistent execution.
- Find compelling stories within Blue’s expertise, students, founders, products, and the education landscape.
- Personally create high-quality content across various formats (video, social, thought leadership, email, educational content, campaigns).
- Translate complex educational topics into clear, useful, and engaging stories.
- Develop repeatable methods for creating multiple content pieces from strong ideas across relevant channels.
- Experiment with brand-led, founder-led, and creator-style content.
- Create content that supports direct audience growth and Blue’s relationships with schools and education partners.
- Develop hypotheses about UK audiences and test them quickly.
- Experiment with different hooks, stories, messages, formats, audiences, and distribution approaches.
- Use qualitative and quantitative signals to understand content performance.
- Build a clear picture of what resonates differently with parents, students, and schools.
- Apply learnings quickly, stopping ineffective activities and doubling down on successful ones.
- Track audience growth, engagement, website activity, qualified enquiries, booked calls, and other commercial signals.
- Identify ways content can support Blue’s B2B relationships and conversations with schools.
- Work with the wider team to connect marketing activity with commercial opportunities.
- Identify audiences, messages, and channels with the greatest potential for growth.
- Use AI as a core part of the marketing workflow for research, ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing, localization, analysis, and content production.
- Experiment with emerging AI tools to improve marketing speed, quality, or scale.

- Use AI to amplify creativity and judgment.
- Establish processes, templates, and workflows for a scalable marketing function.
- Use early experimentation to identify areas for further investment.
- Manage freelancers, creators, editors, designers, or specialist partners to increase impact.
- Work closely with founders and the leadership team to translate business priorities into content and campaigns.
- Help define the capabilities and people needed for the marketing function as it grows.
