About the Role

The Transformation Initiative Lead is a member of Crowe’s Transformation Office, partnering with initiative owners and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, set goals, and drive measurable results. This role offers broad exposure to Crowe’s businesses and leaders, acting as a practical player-coach for those who enjoy solving complex problems and building capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and shape targets by working with business leaders to estimate financial and operational impact and agree on clear targets, success measures, scope, and ownership.
  • Build practical execution plans by converting strategic objectives into workplans with milestones, KPIs, resources, dependencies, risks, decisions, and adoption requirements.
  • Drive results through implementation, adoption, and measured impact, helping teams deliver agreed outcomes with pace, quality, and follow-through.
  • Create early momentum and learning by applying 80/20 thinking to identify key actions, decisions, constraints, and risks, launching pilots, capturing quick wins, and scaling successful approaches.
  • Connect work across Crowe by understanding initiative impacts on workstreams, resources, business priorities, and enterprise value, helping leaders sequence work and manage interdependencies.
  • Anticipate risks and help teams solve them by maintaining a forward view of potential issues and working constructively with leaders to resolve them.
  • Act as a player-coach alongside initiative leaders when capacity, analysis, structure, or problem-solving support is needed, building analyses, designing processes, preparing decisions, and coordinating pilots.
  • Bring together the right resources by identifying capability and capacity needs and securing necessary people, technology, funding, and expertise, coordinating external resources through clear scopes and deliverables.
  • Create clarity, accountability, and momentum by running an effective execution cadence and providing concise updates on progress, value, risks, decisions, and required actions, keeping meetings focused on problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Build lasting capabilities and ownership by helping business leaders develop sustainable processes, capabilities, tools, and ownership, sharing credit and elevating others.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in strategy consulting at a leading firm.
  • Demonstrable strong track record of performance, increasing responsibility, and translating strategic priorities into measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree required with a preference in business, finance, accounting, a STEM field, or another analytically rigorous discipline.
  • Experience leading workstreams through diagnosis, planning, implementation, adoption, and value realization while coordinating multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including opportunity sizing, business-case development, KPI design, scenario analysis, and translation of analysis into practical decisions and actions.
  • Specific examples of personally building analyses, solving operating problems, running pilots, improving processes, and helping teams move from recommendations to sustained results.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across the organizational hierarchy, communicate difficult messages clearly, and influence action without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience defining resource needs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing consultants or vendors against clear deliverables, economics, and outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into concise priorities, decisions, tradeoffs, and next steps for business and executive audiences.
  • Practical and entrepreneurial, with a strong focus on workable solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on player-coach who rolls up their sleeves and helps initiative teams do the real work required to make progress.
  • High-judgment 80/20 thinker who identifies the critical few issues that drive most of the value.
  • AI-proficient and curious; uses AI heavily in both personal and professional settings and looks for practical ways to improve analysis, productivity, and execution.
