About the Role
Live Nation is seeking a highly motivated individual to drive project management for global touring operations. This role will establish clear milestones, timelines, and roadmaps, enabling collaboration and ensuring timely project delivery while supporting an executive.
Responsibilities
- Manage administration for tours of all sizes
- Gather and manage calendar availability and holds
- Create and complete tour routings
- Work on global tours
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with individuals across diverse personalities, cultures, and global backgrounds
- Experience working with international artists, tours, and cross-cultural business partners
- Create and oversee completion of tour files (confirmations, contacts, offers, pot trackers, etc.)
- Develop and maintain organized tour files
- Utilize TM1 and other systems to gather and review ticketing data for decision-making
- Ensure industry and guest ticketing requests are handled
- Work with tour finance on reporting needs and to complete & track weekly artist payments
- Create and distribute reports to pertinent internal and external stakeholders
- Create business plans and maintain deal sheets for potential tours with supervision
- Gather data and research for Tour Promoter & Director
- Review artist contracts per company guidelines
- Liaise with artists, agents, managers, and related industry participants
- Manage interactions with other departments (marketing, ticketing, etc.)
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day execution of small to mid-size domestic tour deals
- Coordinate with local Live Nation offices and 3rd Party Venues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
- 2+ years experience in the live music business and working with live events
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to recognize organizational and define problems, collect information, establish facts, and implement innovative solutions
- Highly organized
- Proactive work ethic
- Strong computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Concur
- Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to work in an environment that is constantly changing
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs
- Ability to travel when necessary
