About the Role

Cerity Partners is seeking passionate students for new college graduate opportunities in wealth management. This role involves providing comprehensive wealth management strategies, supporting client relationships, developing financial plans, and assisting with client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist advisory team with onboarding of new clients, including customizing contracts and coordinating with custodians.
  • Process cash transfers, wires, data maintenance, reporting, and trading.
  • Handle account openings, electronic check deposits, money movement, and custodian tasks.
  • Proactively interact with clients to ensure an outstanding client experience.
  • Schedule client meetings.
  • Receive client calls and resolve questions or issues.
  • Analyze and input client data into financial planning software.
  • Assist with the timely completion and submission of client transaction requests.
  • Prepare forms and reports for client meetings.
  • Conduct independent research and build financial plans for prospective clients.
  • Develop client recommendations with assistance from the Wealth Advisor.
  • Assist in building comprehensive financial plans.
  • Organize and maintain the CRM system (Salesforce) and utilize financial planning software (eMoney).
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and quality control of the CRM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 65 (to be obtained within three months of hire date)
  • 0-2+ years financial planning, estate planning and/or tax planning/preparation experience

Skills

  • Ability to talk to clients independently
  • Ability to train and mentor Client Service Associates
  • Ability to develop wealth planning and investment recommendations and present to clients
  • Working knowledge of e-Money
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines proactively with little supervision
  • Ability to accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential and current clients
  • Tenacious about doing what is right for the client
