About the Role

In Audit & Assurance – Insurance, you will ensure the quality and added value of our audits. Our team focuses on pure auditing topics, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management and accounting within the insurance industry. Join us to secure our shared success and make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Lead challenging actuarial consulting projects and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams.
• Manage team deployment, coordination, leadership, and motivation.
• Expand existing client relationships and acquire new clients with innovative services, including within Deloitte's international network.
• Actively drive the advancement of actuarial methods and the use of modern programming languages like Python and automation.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field of study, ideally with completed training as an Actuary (DAV).
• Proficient in statistical methods and programming skills in Python.
• Several years of professional and, if applicable, leadership experience in the context of HGB, Solvency II, IFRS 17, and risk management.
• Expert and practical knowledge in the modeling, valuation, and analysis of insurance technical risks.
• High quality awareness, customer orientation, negotiation skills, strong communication, team spirit, and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel and excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
